TIME TO SAY GOODBYE

Sad but true, as it is now time to say goodbye – I will finally be closing the shop doors in Nov 2025 – I started full time in 1978, straight from school, working with my dad in the family music shop – Wisher (Derby) Ltd – Come October 2025 and I will be 66, so after a long spell behind the counter, it is time to call it a day – Yet guitars have been a large part of my life for over 50 years, so it won’t quite be the end of the journey as a guitar trader – I will continue to exhibit as various guitar shows  throughout the UK, in 2025/2026 and hopefully beyond, as well as listing the odd nice guitar, for sale, on the Reverb web site – But come November and my shop door will be closed, whilst my web site will no longer be listing any guitars for sale

Existing guitar stock, Reverb and Guitar Shows  : –  There is no urgency on my part, to have a clearance/closing down sale – Guitars currently listed on my web site, plus a number of guitars from my own private collection, will be sold in due course, either via the Reverb web site and/or via exhibiting at various UK Guitar Shows – Next year I will be booked into around 15-18 shows, so hopefully I will continue to see a few familiar faces – However I have repriced a few guitars on the web site, so look out for the ‘new low price’ tag – Otherwise contact me to discuss a tweak to existing web site prices

Showroom visits : – Based in the market town of Ashbourne, Derbyshire – Showroom visits and viewings are still available, via a prior appointment – Note that I’m no longer open on a 9-5 basis, so please don’t just turn up un-announced, only to find no one is in and I’ve wasted your time

An express mail order service will still be available, as required, over the next few months
