An exceptionally clean Epiphone Limited Edition John Lennon Revolution  currently resides in my showroom, hoping to find permanent residency with a potential buyer – This is the original limited run from 2004 and is numbered #142 of 1965 – Released in 2003 and only available until 2006

If indeed it is required I’ve listed below a brief history of this limited edition model :- Paul and George both owned Epiphone Casinos – As did Keith Richards, but it was John that became most associated with the ES230TD Casino – Very famous for its appearance on the infamous rooftop gig when The Beatles last performed live – Move to 1997 and a team from Epiphone visit ‘The Dakota’ in New York to examine John’s 1965 Casino – They took all the appropriate measurements of the body and neck – They studied the components and photographed everything in order to create a detailed replica – In conjunction with Yoko Ono and The John Lennon Estate, two detailed replicas were released in 2003 – One in sunburst, as per the model John acquired in 1966 – The other is The ‘Revolution’ – The guitar John stripped back to natural with one coat of nitro, no pick guard and a set of gold plated Grover machine heads – As Gibson now owned Epiphone, both the Casino and the ES330 were built side by side in the original Kalamazoo factory  in Michigan – Some Epiphone models were based on the equivalent Gibson model, but not exactly the same – ie ES335 and the Riviera – Yet the ES330 and Casino are effectively the same guitar – But due to the connection with The Beatles, Keith Richards and at a later date, Paul Weller, the Casino has always been a desirable model amongst players and collectors like
