£899 buys you a very nice Fender Hank Marvin Signature Strat – This is a 1996 model and made in Japan – Complete with the appropriate Fender padded gig bag – It might not quite earn a 10 out of 10 badge, but it is very clean – Therefore you’ll have to look very carefully to find any hint of a graze or blemish – Frets are fine, with no hint of any wear – Re-strung plus set-up with a new set of strings, plus the trem slightly floating, for up/down pitch – Many will love the weight of this Strat as it only just nudges the 7lb mark on my digital scales, so no negatives on that score – Note the 60th anniversary sticker on the rear of the headstock – Pure vintage spec’d throughout, including hardware – Soft V 50’s neck profile with a comfortable amount of girth – Measures .952″ around the top nut end, then fattens out to .975″ at the 12th fret – Vintage frets + traditional 7.25″ fingerboard radius – I was about to say it is all original, but underneath the 8 hole, single ply scratch plate you’ll find a set of Fender Custom Shop Fat 50’s pick-ups – A nice £150 plus upgrade – Also a neat tweak in that the bottom tone pot has been wired to operate both the middle + bridge pick-up – The pick-up upgrade has seriously enhanced the tonal quality – Warmer, more melodic, more lush with crisp highs – All in all, a nice package

Guitars4You Offers Reliability, Integrity and Expertise
Every guitar in stock at Guitars4You has been personally selected, inspected and approved by me, with particular attention paid to the set-up and playing performance – Every sale, phone call, mail order transaction or e-mail is handled my me – Mark Hopkin, the owner, Managing Director, cleaner and coffee maker (Jo, my wife helps with the coffee) – A journey, now in excess of 40 years, has fuelled my knowledge, experience, love, devotion and passion for exceptionally fine guitars – This reflects in every aspect of our business.
I have no desire to run an Amazon style 'click to buy' guitar shop, that lacks any soul or passion, or indeed to fill a showroom with a selection of dirty, shop soiled or dusty guitars that are in need of a set-up.
