Certain guitars have an aura about them which creates a major statement by their visual appearance alone - A Gretsch 6120 is such an instrument, so if anyone in your neighborhood wishes to challenge your status as the 'King of Twang' then simply open the case and show them what you have purchased - This 2004 Gretsch Nashville 6120DSW pays homeage to the original model from the mid 50's, complete with G brand logo and of course the cactus, steerhead and fence inlays - Weighing in at a touch under 7 and a 1/2 lbs, the guitar is offered for sale complete with the original hard shell case - Condition wise this guitar is in exceptional fine fettle, so close scrutiny is required to find any surface grazes or imperfections that may have occurred over its last 8 years of use

Single cutaway 16" laminate maple body including arched maple top - Maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard - 24.6" scale length, 12' fingerboard radius and 22 frets - Fitted with a pair of the original Gretsch Dynasonic single coil pick-ups, controlled via a regular 3 way selector switch, individual volume controls for each pick-up, then a master volume and tone control - Gretsch have certainly created a distinctive and unique set of trimmings for their guitars - Knurled strap retainer buttons, G-brand logo on the body, pearloid cactus/fence/steerhead fingerboard inlays, gold plexi pickguard with Nashville logo, pearloid Gretsch and steerhead headstock facia inlay and of course the 'arrow' solid brass knobs - Add to that the aged binding around the body, fingerboard, headstock and f-holes - Then you'll notice the polished aluminium compensated bridge sitting on a rosewood base, the Gretsch/Grover 'open' vintage tuners and of course the polished aluminium B6 Bigsby - We have re-strung and set-up the guitar with a new set of 11's, so what more can we add - If you are into Rock 'n' Roll, Rockabilly and Country then you'll already know what tone a Gretsch is capable of achieving - Here endeth the story according to Fred
